Last day on the QM 2

We are passing Nantucket and saw a US Navy warship and a whale today. Beautiful day, water is blue and smooth, air temperature has gotten considerably warmer since getting closer to land and being in the Gulf Stream. No ice bergs on this trip! Today is an art show showing off students art work....they have produced some beautiful paintings. Suit cases need to be packed and put outside our cabins before midnight. Dinner and farewell show tonight. Cruise into NY harbor pass the Statue of Libery at 6:30 am tomorrow with a coast guard escort and New York City fire boats...we will be on deck! Our 3 week trip has been an incredible adventure we will never forget but looking forward to seeing our friends and family.
