Sunday on the Atlantic

Alan and I are having a blast. They made me the Queen Mary 2 art director and gave me a badge with my name imprinted! Workshops are going well and getting about 25-30 people each session (2x per day) Food is wonderful ...you would appreciate the great selection including nova and bagels for the morning. There is a fine dining restaurant where we can have all of our meals and then a food court with multiple venues open all day. The night clubs have jazz and a variety of different settings...we love the Big Band room and dance and watch some very good dancing. A little rock and roll on the ship today as the ocean has picked up but no sea sickness and picture perfect clear blue sky day. Only saw one tanker so far in the ocean and some sea weed and what looked like jelly fish. Went in the hot tub on the stern of the ship yesterday and it was very cool to see the large wake of the ship while the sun was setting with a bloody mary. 3 times around the ship equal a little more than 1 mile....beautiful teak decks and wooden chairs to rest and watch the blue yonder of the vast ocean. It is amazing to see the ocean being in the middle and not on the beach...Tonight is black and white formal night and a captains party. Every one is very friendly on board and it is so large that you never see a lot of people in one place. There are 14 decks on the ship and the first is for the crew with a center ailse which runs the entire length of the ship. Musical show tonight and a 3D movie in the theatre. We pass the resting place of the Titantic tonight and will say a prayer.
